About HowToCancel.eu
HowToCancel.eu was built on a simple observation: subscription services make it easy to sign up and deliberately difficult to cancel. We exist to fix that information asymmetry.
Our Mission
To provide clear, accurate, step-by-step instructions for cancelling every major subscription service — and to keep those instructions up to date as companies change their cancellation flows.
Every guide on this site is researched and written by our team, verified against the service's current cancellation process, and updated at least once per quarter in 2026.
What We Cover
We currently cover 265 subscription services across streaming, software, fitness, gaming, VPN, security, news, education, food delivery and cloud storage. That number is derived from the dataset itself and counts only pages that carry an actual cancellation path — it is not a figure we type into copy. Earlier versions of this page said 107 while the dataset held 265; three separate hand-maintained counts had drifted apart.
How We Research
We compile each set of instructions from the provider's own help documentation and cancellation pages. We do not claim to have personally cancelled a live subscription with every service — an earlier version of this page said our guides were “based on direct testing” of every cancellation flow, which was not true and has been withdrawn. For each service we record:
- →The exact steps to cancel on web, iOS and Android
- →Refund policies and cooling-off rights
- →What happens to your data after cancellation
- →Common traps and dark patterns
- →Current pricing as of 2026
Our Author
Our guides are written and reviewed by Leutrim Miftaraj, founder of Innopulse Consulting GmbH. He holds an MSc in Innovation Management and works on subscription-management software; he is not a lawyer or a consumer-rights researcher. An earlier version of this page described him as “a consumer rights researcher with 8 years of experience”, which was not accurate and has been removed.
